The Pecan Acres Bed and Breakfast was originally built by Mr Ed Hendricks an affluent grocer,as a home for his family in 1918 and later sold to W.C. Ratliff an attorney in Delta County.
The house was purchased and remodeled by Daymon and Maye Cunningham in 1999 as a bed and breakfast. The inn has been completely redecorated with the original windows, hardwood floors, fireplace and tin ceilings restored.
In the early morning the light beams through the windows to give warmth and comfort to every room. There are majestic old pecan trees in the back terrace, which provide the fruit for "pecan goodies." A box lunch or picnic basket of delicacies can be provided for an additional fee.
